Expanded metal lath is extensively used as a background to plaster in order to reinforce against cracks and it is especially useful at joints of dissimilar materials.
Quality Assurance
Expanded metal lath is manufactured in accordance with BS1369 : Part 1 : 1987. The galvanized steel used in the manufacture of metal lath is in accordance with BS EN 10142: 1991 of Fe P02G quality coating type Z275. Where stainless steel is used it is in accordance with BS1449: Part 2: 1983.
